A great way to keep everyone up to date on activities in your school is with a shared Google Calendar. This calendar is managed by someone (Principal, asst. Principal, etc.). Everyone can see what’s going on. The owner of the calendar can also allow others to add items.
Here’s how to add a calendar made by someone else to your calendar:
1.) There is a link associated with every calendar. You should be provided with a link to follow. When you follow the link, you’ll see the whole calendar.
2.) At the bottom right corner, you’ll see a plus symbol and the Google calendar logo. Click this link.
3.) You will be navigated to another screen and asked if you would like to add this new calendar to yours.
4.) Once you have added it, you will see new events from this calendar on yours. You will also see the calendar listed on the left-hand side. It will be assigned a color, so every even associated with that particular calendar will stand out to you.
5.) You can change settings or hide the calendar by clicking on the small arrow to the right of the calendar name.
