Printing and using Quick Cards for Classlink logins

The new student portal allows students to use QR codes to login to their Chorembooks. This feature is only to be used by Pre-K, Kindergarten, or 1st grade students. It's option and not a requirement. By second grade all students should be logging into their computers in the standard way. Below you will find directions for printing and using Quick Cards in your class.

To print Quick Cards follow the directions on the link below. Remember the images included are not from our system so your icons won't be in the same location. You'll need to look for it by name. 

Printing Quick Cards

Students can use the quick cards by clicking the circle under the words "Or sign in using." Once they click the button their camera will activate and and box will pop up. They need to hold their card up so the camera can see it and it should log them in. 

The quick cards only work for the first time a student logs into the choromebook, if you close the lid or power off the device the students will not see the screen above. To get back to this screen they need to do the following:

1. On the screen that pops up you need to click the sign out button at the bottom of the screen.

2. Click the add person button at the bottom. 

3. You should see the original screen from Classlink pop up. From there you can log on using the card again. Any work the student was working when they closed the lid will not show up. They will have to open the page again.
