Laptop keyboards and screens can get dirty and will need to be cleaned. This is especially true of laptops (Chromebooks) used by students. In order to clean them, please do the following:
1. Unplug and power off the laptops.
2. Either spray cleaner onto a cloth, or use a cleaning cloth like a Clorox Wipe to clean the keyboard. Try very hard to avoid getting liquid beneath the keys, as this will damage the laptop! Never spray directly on the keyboard. If using Clorox wipes, be sure that the wipe is not dripping liquid. Squeeze excess liquid out prior to cleaning.
3. If cleaning a glass touchscreen (like a Yoga style Chromebook screen, or an ipad) you may use the same type of cleaner on the screen as on the keyboard. However if cleaning a Macbook screen (not glass, not a touchscreen) a cleaner specifically made for cleaning screens should be used. Do not spray glass cleaners (like Windex) onto the screen.
