As of Nov 1, 2019, a change has been made that will allow any employee to log into a Chromebook or Chromebox using their network username and password (The same username/password they use for their Macbook or the Employee Portal).
The first time an employee logs into a Chromebook or Chromebox, they will be presented with the following screen:
Click on the Staff option. This will then take them to the following screen (the very familiar Employee Portal login page):
At this screen, the employee simply enters his/her network username and password (the same password they use to login to their Macbook or to the Employee Portal). This will log them into the Chromebook or Chromebox. They can then log out normally when done.
Subsequent logins to this same Chromebook or Chromebox will not direct them to this page, but will simply prompt them for their password. They will continue to use their network password at this prompt (the same password they use to login to their Macbook or to the Employee Portal).
