Connecting your Macbook to a whiteboard will allow you to display the screen from your computer to the whiteboard screen, and to control the computer by touching the whiteboard screen.
Step 1 – Locate the ports on your Macbook.
You will need the USB and Thunderbolt ports:
Step 2 – Connect your USB and either HDMI or VGA Cables to your Macbook.
First, you will need one of the following types of adapters.
Thunderbolt to VGA:

Next you will connect one end of your adapter to the Thunderbolt port on your Macbook, and connect either an HDMI or VGA cable to the other end of the adapter:
Insert the rectangular end of the USB cable to an open USB port on your Macbook:
Step 3 – Locate the ports on your whiteboard and connect the USB, and either the VGA or HDMI cables to the board.
You will need to locate the USB port on your whiteboard. It will look like this:
Your will need to locate either the VGA or HDMI input on your whiteboard, depending on which dongle you have. They look like this:

Step 4 – Connect the USB and either the VGA or HDMI cables to the board.
Connect the “square” end of the USB cable to the back of the whiteboard:
Connect either the HDMI or the VGA cable to the corresponding input on the side of the whiteboard.
Power on your Macbook, and then power on your board. Most boards will recognize that your Macbook is connected and display your screen automatically. If not, you may need to select an input using the buttons on the whiteboard and select the input where you connected (HDMI or VGA).
