Enable Offline Access to Google Drive Files on Your Chromebook

You must activate this option if you want to have access to your Google Drive files offline. You must have internet access when you activate it.

1. Click the gear icon for settings at the top right of the screen.
2. Click Settings.
3. A Settings window will appear with several options. Check the box next to Offline.

If you want offline access to files on your home computer you will also need to activate this setting on that computer. If you use Google Chrome on your Macbook, you also have access to this feature.

NOTE: This feature is NOT available if you use Safari or Firefox as your primary web browser.
