Each SRO is granted an Active Directory account, so that they may connect their computer and/or cell phone (typically a laptop provided by the Police Department) to our BCAWiFi wifi.
The SRO can access PowerSchool via the Employee Portal.
Each school has provided the SRO an office, which is equipped with a dedicated PC for viewing the school's security camera system. These are configured to launch the security camera system app when the PC is powered on, with no requirement for the SRO to enter credentials to access the PC or network.
SRO's are not provided a BCBE email address.
Marty McRae's office will notify Ed Tech when new SROs are assigned at a school via a request for new account ticket in Zendesk. They will also let us know when an SRO is no longer serving at a school so that we can close their access.
