1. Connecting to home WiFi

On your Mac, click the Wi-Fi icon in the menu bar, then choose the network you want to join.(If you don’t see the network you want to join, click Other Networks to display nearby networks)

If requested, enter the password for the network, then click Join.

2.Adding a Printer
For most USB printers, all you have to do is update your software and then connect the printer to your Mac. If necessary, install the latest printing software that came with the printer or from the manufacturer’s website.

On your Mac, update your printer software: Check with your printer’s manufacturer to see if any updates are available for your printer model.

Prepare your printer: Use the instructions that came with your printer to unpack the printer, install ink or toner, and add paper. Turn on the printer and make sure it’s not displaying any errors.

Connect your printer: Connect the USB cable to your Mac. If you see a message prompting you to download new software, make sure to download and install it.

3. How to change your password
1. Verify you are connected to the schools Wifi(BCAWIFI)
- select the KEY icon in the top right menu bar( )
- change password
4. Looking for something?

On your Mac, do one of the following:

Click the Spotlight icon (if shown) in the menu bar.

Press Command-Space bar.

Press (if available) in the row of function keys on the keyboard.

5. Cluttered Desktop
- Desktop "Stacks" on your Mac neatly organize files on your desktop into groups. When you save a file to the desktop, it’s automatically added to the appropriate stack.

On your Mac, click the desktop, then choose View > Use Stacks or press Control-Command-0. You can also Control-click the desktop, then choose Use Stacks.
