How to update firmware on a Promethean Interactive Panel

Follow the steps below to install the latest update to your Promethean Interactive Panel.

  • Hit flame on the menu board.
  • Go to locker
  • Hit update.
  • Check for updates.
  • Board should update on its own. Let it complete this process. 
  • As of date of this article (March 29, 2021) you should have the following versions:
       Mainboard firmware:  4.3.0.111
       Bezel Filmware:          v6.4.71.42

    The AP6-70 boards don't have the Flame button. Consider either adding the following steps to this procedure or adding a new procedure for the AP6-70. 

    • Select the four squares in lower left corner
    • Select the gear icon, in lower left corner
    • Select the "Update" icon
    • Select "Online update"
    • Follow onscreen instructions to update. 
    • As of date of this article (March 29, 2021) you should have the following version
         Version:          v6.4.71.42
