Temporary Access to Guest Network
I need temporary access to the guest network:
Temporary guest network access can be provided by:
- The technology help desk at the school
- The director of the department
- ET Services: 251-972-6850
Temporary access to the guest network is intended for non-BCBE employees that need Internet access for a few days or less. This is typically needed by outside vendors, presenters, etc.
Principals, DRA, DRS and Directors can access the instructions for temporary connections to the Guest Network here (login required)
I need long term access to the Guest Network:
This is for non-BCBE employees that will need network access for an extended time.
Long-term access is granted by giving users their own username and password for logging in. This must be approved by the principal or a department director.
Long-term Guest Network Access Request Form
This form must be completed by the person that will be using the guest account.
All users must accept and agree to the terms and conditions listed below before access be provided.
Once the request is submitted a verification notification will be sent to the sponsor school or department for verification.
Please allow 3-5 business days for processing.
If immediate access is required, ask your sponsor, DRA, DRS or call 251-972-6850 for information about temporary access instructions.

Consider updating the "Principals, DRA, DRS and Directors can access the instructions for temporary connections to the Guest Network here" document to the following. This update clarifies the Mac Computers instructions.
Temporary Guest Network Access Instructions
SSID (network name): GuestPortal
WPA2 Password: guestwifi
Username: guestwifi
Current Password: tbC9=e
Password last changed: 01/24/2022
Connection Instructions
Windows Computers
Mac Computers
NOTE: If the GuestPortal has been used on the computer before, the WPA2 login window may not appear but the GuestPortal login window will. Enter the Username and Password.
the password doesnot work
It should probably be added that iOS devices have to disable the "Private Wifi Address" option in the settings specific to the network in order to be able to access the captive portal.
