From time to time it is important to change the password that you use to log into your computer. This password is used by several applications, such as iNow and your email.
Use the attached documents to change your password as needed.
- If you are a teacher, and the only computer you have been issued to use by BCBE is a MacBook, then follow the directions in the attached document for changing your password on a MacBook.
- If you work as an Administrator or Staff and the only BCBE computer you use is a Windows PC (Desktop computer or a Windows laptop) then follow the directions in the attached document for changing your password on a Windows PC.
- If you use both Windows PCs and Macbooks that have been issued to you by BCBE, then follow the directions in the document for changing your password on a MacBook. After making the change on your MacBook, then simply log out of your Windows computer and then log back in using your new password.
- For an employee that does not use a BCBE issued computer (Custodial staff, CNP, for example), have the employee call the BCBE Help Desk to request a password change.
Changing your password as described in these documents will result in a change to the password used to log into your computer, to check email, and also to log into the BCBE Employee Portal (my.bcbe.org).
If you use your cell phone to check email, you may be prompted to enter your new password the next time you check email on your phone. Simply enter your new password when prompted.
